After the first meeting in Prague on the 10-11/6-2024 with a specific focus on knowledge exchange, we had a follow up meeting at ESS.
On the agenda was focus on Procurement and Logistics processes and procedures and a guided tour of ESS.
From a logistics perspective, there were a lot of “aha” moments where both parties learned from each other taking steps towards more efficient processes – the basics for the RI.Logistica approach.
The deep dive into the different processes revealed, as example, a smarter cable drum storage/handling set up by ELI that would add great value to ESS solution. Another example was the ESS developed Access based system for registering inbound shipments and take control off the whereabouts, advising the receiver of its arrival that could be used by ELI.
