This role acts as a key point of liaison between the organisation, off-site storage facility, hauliers, suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
The aim is to undertake the receipt, despatch, packaging, kitting distribution and temporary storage of parts, equipment and specialist goods, both on-site and at the off-site storage facility, ensuring traceability, safe keeping, and full regulatory compliance at all times.
The role is split between the Diamond Light Source facility on Harwell Campus and the off-site third-party warehouse at Milton Park.
The role is Monday to Friday, working directly for Cannon Packing Limited and day to day direction will be given by Diamond Light Source. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
